Certification body, CompEx is now offering assessments in Azeri for its leading course, Ex01-Ex04 Gas and Vapours, to make the qualification even more accessible.
Currently available as an online assessment in English, Chinese and Korean, CompEx is widening the scope of languages offered in its Ex01-Ex04 assessments by launching it in Azeri. This development has been in response to demand driven by both international and local markets, and by introducing Azeri it enables more people to undertake and complete the five-day Gas and Vapours qualification.
The CompEx Ex01-Ex04 Gas and Vapours qualification is a five-day course suitable for practicing electrical or instrument technicians who are involved in installing, inspecting and maintaining certified Ex electrical equipment in locations where gases and vapours can potentially create a hazardous area.
Huw Bement, director at CompEx, said: “Ultimately, our aim is to improve safety and competency within the workplace globally and across industry. The move to widen the scope of languages we offer our assessments in plays a key role in this objective. Not only does the launch of our popular Ex01-Ex04 assessment in Azeri support the needs of our international market, as well as our registered CompEx centres locally, it also encourages uptake of remote courses such as our Ex Foundation qualification where there is no practical element, across new and prospective countries. We look forward to announcing the launch of additional languages in the coming months.”
